SOUTH PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- A man and woman were arrested after being found living in a home that once belonged to the male suspect's parents.

Police were called around 1:00 p.m. Wednesday to a home on the 1500 block of South 5th Street in South Philadelphia.

The homeowner tells police he came home from vacation and found a man and woman were living in his house.

Police tell Action News that another couple that used to live in the home threw out their son.

The couple has since moved.

However, the couple's son and a woman broke into the home and were living there while trying to steal copper.

Police took the two into custody.
