2 injured in Monroe Township blaze

MONROE TWP., N.J. (WPVI) -- Authorities say two people were injured in a 2-alarm house fire in Monroe Township, New Jersey.

It happened around 10:00 p.m. in the 100 block of Washington Avenue.

Crews reported heavy fire showing from the multi-story home upon arrival.

A second alarm was struck around 10:30 p.m.

Two people suffered injuries but to what extent is still unknown.

The fire was brought under control but no word yet on a cause.
