Nail salon burglary in Port Richmond caught on camera

PORT RICHMOND (WPVI) -- Philadelphia police are looking for two suspects wanted in connection with a burglary at a nail salon in the city's Port Richmond section.

It happened Tuesday morning at the Ambiance Nails Organic Spa on the 2200 block of Wheatsheaf Lane.

Surveillance from inside the salon caught the suspects parking a light green or gray Ford Expedition with a broken rear tail light in front of the building around 6:30 a m.

The driver gets out and stands along the side of the vehicle while his passenger carefully breaks the glass on the front door.

One suspect then goes inside and steals the entire cash register off the counter before jumping back into the waiting SUV and speeding away through the parking lot.

Police describe one suspect as a white or Hispanic male wearing a striped flannel jacket.

A description of the second suspect is not known.
