Truck, car crash head-on in Delaware

STANTON, Del. (WPVI) -- Delaware State Police are investigating an accident that injured two people and closed Route 4 in both directions Tuesday evening.

The accident happened just before 5:00 p.m. in the 1600 block of West Newport Pike in Stanton.

Police say it appears a sedan crossed into oncoming traffic striking a pickup truck head-on.

The drivers of both vehicles were both transported to Christiana Care Hospital.

No further details have been released.
