18-year-old fatally shot in the head in Wilmington

WILIMINGTON, Del. (WPVI) -- Authorities say a man is dead after he was shot in the head in Wilmington.

It happened around 8:00 p.m. Saturday in the 300 block of West 21st Street.

Police say 8-year-old William Rollins Jr. was found suffering from a gunshot wound to the head.

He was rushed to Wilmington Hospital in critical condition but later died from his injuries.

No word on a motive or any possible suspects.
