MILLSBORO, Del. -- Delaware State Police are investigating the death of a 10-month-old baby boy at a Millsboro daycare.

Police say they got a 911 call about the baby Wednesday afternoon. Police say a daycare worker reported finding the baby unresponsive when trying to wake him from a nap. The baby was pronounced dead at a hospital soon after.

The Delaware Division of Forensic Science is expected to begin investigating Thursday how the baby died.

Master Cpl. Gary Fournier says there were no obvious signs of trauma on the baby but that foul play has not been ruled out. He says all the workers at the daycare, Handy's Little Disciples, were interviewed but declined to discuss details.

The daycare is unlisted and wasn't in online records at Delaware's Office of Child Care Licensing.
