More arrests in central Pennsylvania drug case

HARRISBURG (WPVI) -- More people have been charged in connection with a central Pennsylvania drug investigation, Attorney General Kathleen Kane announced Friday.

The 11 now facing charges brings the total number of suspects to 30, following the arrests of 19 people back in September.

The investigation centers on heroin and narcotics trafficking in Northumberland, Montour and Columbia counties, the AG's office said.

The case is ongoing and more arrests are anticipated, the AG said.

Those charged are:

-David Seger, 54, currently incarcerated in the SCI Coal Township, Northumberland County, is charged with: two counts of possession with intent to deliver heroin and two counts of delivery of heroin.

-Albert Small, 65, of Shamokin, Northumberland County, is charged with two counts of possession with intent to deliver Percocet, two counts of delivery of Percocet and one count of criminal use of a communication facility.

-Holly Madden, 24, of Ranshaw, Northumberland County, is charged with two counts of possession with intent to deliver heroin, two counts of delivery of heroin and one count criminal conspiracy.

-Christopher Mitchell, 44, currently incarcerated in SCI-Coal Township, is charged with six counts of possession with intent to deliver heroin, six counts of delivery of heroin and two counts of criminal use of a communication facility.

-Rex Hepner, 67, currently incarcerated in SCI-Coal Township, is charged with two counts of possession with intent to deliver heroin and two counts of delivery of heroin.

-Shannon L. Armes, 37, of Shamokin, Northumberland County, is charged with four counts of possession with intent to deliver heroin, four counts of delivery of heroin and one count of criminal use of a communication facility.

-Sharon Carson, 50, of Shamokin, Northumberland County, is charged with two counts of possession with intent to deliver heroin, two counts of delivery of heroin and one count of criminal use of a communication facility.

-James Madison, 54, of Shamokin, Northumberland County, is charged with four counts of possession with intent to deliver heroin, four counts of delivery of heroin, one count of criminal attempt for possession with intent to deliver heroin and one count of possession of drug paraphernalia.

-Brian Seebold, 52, of Shamokin, Northumberland County, is charged with two counts of possession with intent to deliver heroin, two counts of delivery of heroin and one count of criminal conspiracy.

-John Firestine, 51, of Shamokin, Northumberland County, is charged with two counts of possession with intent to deliver hashish, two counts of delivery of hashish, two counts of possession with intent to deliver Adderall, two counts of delivery of Adderall and one count of criminal use of a communication facility.

-Frederick Russo, 48, of Coal Township, Northumberland County, is charged with two counts of possession with intent to deliver heroin and two counts of delivery of heroin.
