It's been exactly 5 years since Kacey Lynn Prim of Audobon, New Jersey went missing.

AUDUBON, N.J. (WPVI) -- Kacey Lynn Prim of Audubon, New Jersey, has been missing for five years.

Then 23 years old, she disappeared on January 3rd, 2011.

During a Thursday afternoon news conference, her sister said that while Kacey had struggled with addiction, her life was moving forward leading up to her disappearance.

"After the passing of our dad, Kacey lost her way and struggled with drug addiction. This was not who Kacey was, who Kacey is. After some time, Kacey got some help and got herself back on track," said her sister, Kristi Romano.

The Camden County Prosecutor's Office and Audubon Police Department are both continuing to investigate the case.

Family members of a woman missing five years plead for the public's help.

Investigators say Kacey Lynn was last seen in the area of 5800 block of Arch Street in Philadelphia sometime after leaving her home in Audubon.

The next day she called her mother, but her family hasn't heard from her since.

"Kacey is a daughter, a sister, an aunt, a cousin and a friend. We all miss her, and we're just hoping for some answers," Romano said. "Kacey, if you see this, we want you to know we love you and we miss you and we want you home."

Her family says Kacey is 5'9" tall, around 130 pounds, with blue eyes and had blonde hair at the time of her disappearance.

She has a butterfly tattoo on her right hip, a pierced nose, and was known to wear a diamond stud nose ring.

Anyone with information about Prim's whereabouts is urged to contact Camden County Prosecutor's Office Detective Brad Redrow at (856) 225-8643 or Audubon Police Lt. Michael West and Audubon Police Detective Tim Stillman at (856) 547-1171.
