Philly Pretzel Factory robbed at gunpoint in Holmesburg

Philadelphia police are investigating an armed robbery at a Philly Pretzel Factory in the city's Holmesburg neighborhood Thursday night.

NORTHEAST PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Philadelphia police are investigating an armed robbery at a Philly Pretzel Factory in the city's Holmesburg neighborhood Thursday night.

Surveillance video shows the suspect walking into the store on the 7300 block of Frankford Avenue just before 9 p.m. with a scarf covering his face.

He points a gun at the two teenage employees before walking behind the counter and demanding cash.

After the clerk put the money from the register onto the counter, the thief grabbed the cash and stuffed it into his pockets.

He fled the store heading north on Frankford Avenue.

Police describe the suspect as a white male, 200 lbs.,6'0" tall with green eyes and a stocky build. He was wearing a black Nike jacket with two light colored horizontal stripes on the front and back, black hat, black scarf covering lower portion of his face, black sneakers, and armed with a handgun.
