Man struck, killed on SEPTA's Broad Street Line

SOUTH PHILADELPHIA -- A man was struck and killed by a SEPTA train in South Philadelphia.

It happened around 2:00 p.m. Sunday at the Tasker-Morris station on the Broad Street Line.

The victim was pronounced dead at the scene. No word on his identity.

Officials are still trying to figure out why he was on the tracks.
