NEWARK, Del. (WPVI) -- A Newark man was arrested after police say he fired several shots inside his home, narrowly missing the family that lives next door.

The New Castle County Police have arrested 59-year-old Everett Fray and charged him with reckless endangerment.

The charges stem from an incident that happened at approximately 7:12 p.m. last Friday at an apartment in the unit block of Sandalwood Court.

Police allege that Fray fired shots inside his apartment.

The bullets went through the wall of the suspect's house into the neighbor's home.

Fray's neighbors tell police they heard shots, then saw drywall falling to their floor.

Officers seized five firearms and multiple rounds of ammunition from Fray's house.
