Police: $130,000 in cash, jewelry stolen from Northeast Philadelphia home

NORTHEAST PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Police are searching for a suspect who stole $130,000 in cash and jewelry from a Northeast Philadelphia home.

Police say the burglary took place on Roosevelt Boulevard during some time between 11:00 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. Monday.

The burglar got away with approximately $100,000 in jewelry and $30,000 in cash.

No one was home during the break-in.

The victims say they returned from visiting a relative at the hospital to find their back-door kicked in.
