GLASGOW, Del. (WPVI) -- Seventy firefighters battled a two-alarm blaze at a chocolate factory in Glasgow, Delaware Wednesday night.

The blaze broke out just after 5:30 p.m. along the 700 block of Pencader Drive on the roof of the United Cocoa Processing facility.

The warehouse processes cocoa beans for chocolate.

The building is so massive, workers in one section didn't even realize part of it was on fire.

The fire was brought under control within half hour.

Employees were all able to escape safely. There were no injuries reported.

Deputy Fire Marshals were called to the scene and have determined that the fire to be accidental in nature. A malfunction in the exhaust system for the unit that roasts the cocoa beans is what is believed to have sparked the fire.

Damage is estimated at approximately $250,000.
