SOUTH PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Police are looking to identify a woman who injured a store clerk during a robbery inside a dollar store in South Philadelphia.

It happened on February 15 at the EZ Dollar Plus store located at 1001 Snyder Avenue.

The robber was caught on surveillance walking into the store just after 2 p.m. and hiding merchandise under her sweatshirt.

When a female store employee confronted her at the front door, the suspect slapped the clerk in the face and pushed her to the ground.

She fled the store and jumped into the passenger seat of a white colored vehicle heading west on Snyder Avenue.

The store clerk suffered a minor injury to her left hand during the fall.

The robber is described as a white female, 35-40 years-old and 4'11" tall with brown hair. She was wearing a white hooded sweatshirt with unknown writing across the chest, black scarf, blue jeans.
