NORTH PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Police are investigating the attempted firebombing of a house in North Philadelphia early Wednesday morning.
The incident occurred around 2:20 a.m. on the 2500 block of North 17th Street.
According to police, someone threw a Molotov cocktail through the first floor window of a house.
Fortunately, the device did not ignite and there was no fire and no injuries.
The house was evacuated because of the fumes.
So far, there are no arrests or motive.
