NY police locate woman reported missing in Manayunk

MANAYUNK (WPVI) -- A woman who went missing after a night out with friends in Manayunk has been located by the New York Police Department in good condition.

Police say 23-year-old Megan Thompson of Staten Island, N.Y. was out drinking with friends at Lucky's Last Chance in the 4400 block of Main Street Thursday night.

She was last seen at 1:30 a.m. Friday getting into a cab with a female friend.

The destination was just a few blocks away, and police say the friend got out of the cab to pay.

It is unclear, however, if Thompson got out of the cab as well.

Police were called and a search ensued. However, Friday afternoon police in New York said they had located Thompson and that she was in good health.

No other information was made available.
