Man stabbed in the leg in Strawberry Mansion

STRAWBERRY MANSION (WPVI) -- Police say a man was stabbed in the leg in Philadelphia's Strawberry Mansion section early Wednesday morning.

The incident occurred around 3:00 a.m. inside a home on the 2500 block of North Hollywood Street.

Early reports indicated that an unidentified woman believed to be in her 20's allegedly stabbed the man and then fled the scene.

The victim was taken to Temple University Hospital in stable condition.

Police have made no arrests or said why the man was stabbed.
