Man shot in the face, torso in Wilmington, Delaware

WILMINGTON, Del. (WPVI) -- A man suffered serious injuries when gunfire erupted on the streets of Wilmington, Delaware Friday morning.

It was 10:36 a.m. when police were dispatched to the 300 block of West 7th Streets.

Upon arrival, they located a male lying in the street suffering from multiple gun shot wounds.

The victim was transported to Christiana Hospital suffering from wounds to the face, chest and abdomen.

he is currently listed in critical condition.

So far, no word on who shot the man or why.

Police are looking for three suspects.
