Water service restored after Montgomery County main break

UPPER MORELAND, Pa. (WPVI) -- Aqua America customers in parts of Montgomery County woke up without water Sunday morning.

Aqua reports the affected areas are Upper Moreland and Hatboro.

Officials confirm a 10-inch water main broke along the unit block of East Moreland Avenue.

About 100 customers were without water for several hours after Aqua crews shut off the main.

Water service has since been restored.

No word what caused the break.
