Man shot during attempted robbery in West Philadelphia

WEST PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- A man was shot during what appears to have been an attempted robbery in West Philadelphia.

It happened around 9:10 p.m. Wednesday in the 400 block of North Robinson Street.

The victim was shot in the shoulder.

He was taken to Penn-Presbyterian Hospital for treatment. No word on his condition.

Police haven't said what, if anything, was taken.

No word on any arrests.
