Man shot in the face in South Philadelphia

SOUTH PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Authorities say a man was shot in the face in South Philadelphia.

It happened Thursday afternoon in the 500 block of Mifflin Street.

The victim ran to a nearby store for help after being shot.

He was taken to Jefferson Hospital. No word on his condition.

Police are investigating.
