Suspect sought in Wawa burglary in Torresdale

TORRESDALE (WPVI) -- Philadelphia police are searching for a man who burglarized a Wawa in the city's Torresdale section Tuesday night.

It happened at 10:45 p.m. inside the store located on the 9400 block of State Road.

Police say the burglar snuck into a restricted area in the rear of the store and stole wallets and purses belonging to employees.

He then fled the store south on State Road in a dark colored vehicle.

Police describe the suspect as a white male, 6'0" tall with a medium build and tattoo on the right side of his neck. He was wearing dark colored pants, brown boots and a black and red hat.
