Flames force 3 people from Deptford Twp. home

DEPTFORD TWP., N.J. (WPVI) -- A house fire has left three people displaced in Deptford Township, New Jersey early Wednesday morning.

The blaze broke out just past midnight on the 700 block of Tanyard Road.

Fire crews arrived to flames showing on the second floor of a single family house.

It took firefighters about a half hour to get the flames under control.

The Red Cross arrived to assist three people with food, clothing and shelter.

The family dog was also treated at the scene.

So far, there is no word on what sparked the blaze.
