Bensalem cop injured in motorcycle crash

BENSALEM, Pa. (WPVI) -- A Bensalem police officer was injured in a motorcycle accident on Tuesday afternoon.

The crash happened just after 3:30 p.m. at Knights and Street Road.

Police say a car pulled out in front of the motorcycle.

The officer was taken to the hospital and was described as "conscious and alert."

There was no word on any charges as the investigation continues.

Police say the driver remained at the scene.
