Man killed in daytime shooting in Wynnefield

WYNNEFIELD (WPVI) -- A man in his 20s is dead after he was shot multiple times in daytime shooting Philadephia's Wynnefield section.

It happened around 3:15 p.m. Thursday near 58th Street and Malvern Avenue.

The victim was shot in the stomach and the back.

He was taken to Presbyterian Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

No word on any suspects or a possible motive.

Police are investigating.
