Man fatally shot in the chest in Kensington

KENSINGTON (WPVI) -- A man was shot in the chest and killed in Philadelphia's Kensington section.

It happened around 7:00 p.m. Friday near North Front and Dauphin streets.

Officers rushed the victim to Temple University Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

His identity has not been released.

No word yet on a motive or any possible suspects.

Police are investigating.
