Man found shot in Wilmington, Del.

WILMINGTON, Del. (WPVI) -- Police say an unidentified man was found shot in Wilmington, Delaware late Monday night.

The shooting happened just past 11:00 p.m. on the 100 block of North Broom Street.

Officers responded to the scene after reports of shots fired.

A man was found with a gunshot wound to the left side of his chest.

The victim managed to walk to the ambulance with assistance.

He was taken to the hospital in serious but stable condition.

So far, there is no word on suspects or a motive.
