Burglar steals vehicle from used car lot in North Philadelphia

NORTH PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Police are looking for a burglar who broke into a used car lot in North Philadelphia and drove off with a vehicle.

It happened on May 29 at 1 a.m. at SSR Auto Sales located on the 3000 block of Germantown Avenue.

Police say the burglar used bolt cutters to cut a large hole in the fence surrounding the lot.

Once inside, the suspect then was caught on surveillance video breaking into an office trailer.

He grabbed several sets of keys and drove off straight through the fence with a 2001 green BMW 325i with the VIN# WBAAV33481FU92021.

Police describe the suspect as a male of unknown race wearing a hooded sweatshirt or jacket, long pants and carrying bolt cutters.
