1 dead in crash on I-95 in Tinicum Township

TINICUM TWP., Pa. (WPVI) -- Police say one person is dead after a crash on Interstate-95 in Delaware County early Saturday morning.

The crash occurred around 12:30 a.m. just north of exit 9A (Route 420) in Tinicum Township, Pennsylvania.

The driver lost control then the vehicle rolled over, breaking through a guardrail and down an embankment, police say.

There is no word on why the driver lost control.

Police briefly blocked off the crash scene while they investigated.

The victim's name has not been released.
