1 injured after car crashes, overturns in Frankford

FRANKFORD (WPVI) -- One person was injured after a car crashed and overturned in Philadelphia's Frankford section.

It happened Wednesday evening in the 4400 block of Leiper Street.

Authorities say the driver of the car lost control before crashing.

One person inside the car was taken to Aria-Torresdale Hospital for what appears to be non-life threatening injuries.

The cause of the accident is under investigation.
