Car rolls into Schuylkill River near Boathouse Row

FAIRMOUNT PARK (WPVI) -- Rescue crews were called to the report of a car in the Schuylkill River in Fairmount Park.

The reports came in just before 3:00 a.m. Sunday on Kelly Drive near Boathouse Row.

Witnesses say they saw a car rolling from a parking lot into the Schuylkill River.

Marine units found the car in the water, but no one was inside.

Authorities are continuing to investigate.
