Employee slashed in neck at Havertown workplace

HAVERTOWN, Pa. (WPVI) -- Two people are in custody after a workplace dispute ended with a worker slashed in the neck.

The incident happened shortly before noon Tuesday in the 1500 block of Lawrence Road in Havertown, Pa.

The employee who was injured suffered a minor laceration and was being treated at the scene, police said.

Both men, ages 50 and 58, have been charged with aggravated assault and related charges.

Authorities have not released their identities, but say the men know each other.

Police called the incident a long simmering dispute.
