Argument ends with woman stabbed in North Philadelphia

NORTH PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Police say an argument between two woman turned ugly and left one female stabbed in North Philadelphia.

The incident occurred around 2:30 a.m. Saturday inside a home on the 2300 block North 20th Street.

The women were acquainted with one another, police say.

They started arguing outside and then continued inside the home.

During the fight one of the females allegedly stabbed a 38-year-old woman in the face and chest before fleeing.

The victim was rushed to Temple University Hospital in critical condition.

Police have a description of the accused and are working to find her.
