PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- An annual drive that collects back to school supplies for local foster kids is now underway.
Philadelphia's Department of Human Services and Valley Youth House kicked off the backpack challenge at Dilworth Park in Center City Wednesday.
This year's goal is to raise 25 thousand dollars and 58 hundred backpacks, for foster kids at the Achieve Independence Center.
There are a number of collection sites all across the city.
