Police say two people were shot after an argument in Philadelphia's Olney section early Wednesday morning.

Police say two people were shot after an argument in Philadelphia's Olney section early Wednesday morning.

Several 911 calls were made to police after shots were fired on the 300 block of West Wellens Avenue.

Officers say it started as an argument between a large crowd of people.

A 20-year-old man was shot in the chest and a 23-year-old man was shot in the hip.

Both were taken by private auto to Einstein Medical Center. They are in stable condition.

Police found 20 shell casings littered on the ground.

Bullets also went into neighboring houses and parked cars.

One bullet landed in the living room wall of one house.

Police say the family was asleep upstairs, and no one was hurt.

Police are investigating the violent incident.
