Officials in Mercer County say they have made an arrest in the murder a of a 38-year-old Hamilton Township mother earlier this month.

HAMILTON TWP., N.J. (WPVI) -- Authorities have made an arrest in connection with the murder of a woman whose body was found earlier this month in Hamilton Township, New Jersey.

Tyron Lindsay, 38, of East State Street in Hamilton Township, is charged with first-degree murder in the death of 38-year-old Jessica Prusik.

Prusik's body was discovered on October 6th in Roebling Park in Hamilton. She had been strangled.

Prosecutors say during the course of the investigation, detectives determined Lindsay was the last person known to be with Prusik.

They say surveillance video showed the victim and Linsday together in Lindsay's 1992 Ford F-150 pickup truck the day before she was found dead.

Lindsay was arrested on unrelated charges the day after Prusik's body was found, and police say he was carrying her bank cards at that time.

Lindsay was arrested at work in Lawrence Township late Tuesday night and charged with Prusik's murder.

Bail has been set at $1 million.
