Baby bitten in face by family dog in Bustleton

BUSTLETON (WPVI) -- A baby is hospitalized after being bitten by a family dog in Philadelphia's Bustleton section.

It happened Sunday inside a residence on the 8800 block of Krewstown Road.

Action News is told a 1-year-old child was bitten in the face by a family dog. The dog was secured after biting the child.

The child was taken to Aria-Jefferson Health's Torresdale facility for stitches.
