Firefighters battled a 2-alarm blaze at a recycling building in Minquadale, Delaware.

MINQUADALE, Pa. (WPVI) -- Firefighters battled a 2-alarm blaze that damaged a recycling building in Minquadale, Delaware.

The fire broke out before 3:00 a.m. Thursday inside the Gold Metal Recycling facility on the 1000 block of South Heald Street.

Investigators say, a number of recycling bundles caught fire, sending thick plumes of smoke into the air.

There were workers inside at the time. A two block building had to be evacuated.

There are no reports of any injuries.

Crews were able to get the blaze under control.

So far, there is no word on what sparked the blaze.
