Boat fire spreads to homes in Egg Harbor Twp.

EGG HARBOR TWP., N.J. (WPVI) -- Flames broke out on a boat in Egg Harbor Township, Atlantic County and spread to two homes.

It happened around 5:00 p.m. on the 100 block of Hospitality Drive.

The fire began in the boat, which was parked in a driveway, and the flames spread to two nearby houses.

Crews brought the fire under control within an hour.

No injuries were reported.

The boat was destroyed and the houses sustained minor damage.

No word what sparked the fire.
