Military members helped an eight-year-old boy spend a day with his cancer at the back of his mind.

Military members helped an eight-year-old boy spend a day with his cancer at the back of his mind.[br /][br /]Service members at Joint Base Andrews in Maryland let Kwami Penty be a "Pilot for the Day."[br /][Ads /][br /]They escorted Kwami on base in a Humvee, gave him a welcome ceremony and swore him in.[br /][br /]They even gave him his own wing-man for the day.2][br /][br /]And gave him a chance to fly a helicopter simulator.[br /][Ads /][br /]"It's thrilling, exciting, most spectacular thing I've ever done. I feel special," said Kwami.[br /][br /]Kwami has a rare malignant brain tumor.[br /][br /]The Check Six Foundation, which helps terminally ill children, helped arrange and pay for the experience.
