Broken water line floods mall parking lot in Montgomery County

WYNCOTE, Pa. (WPVI) -- A broken water main or supply line caused some minor flooding in the parking lot of the Cheltenham Square Mall in Wyncote, Montgomery County.

Police were called to the mall, located in the 2300 block of Cheltenham Ave., at 5 a.m. Tuesday.

Video from Chopper 6 HD showed muddy water covering a section of the parking lot along Cheltenham Ave. near Washington Ave.

The water appeared to have flowed across a large section of the lot into a drain.

A section of the parking lot was marked off with yellow caution tape.

Action News is told crews from Aqua America were on the scene working to fix the broken line.
