CLAFONT, Pa. (WPVI) -- Police and the FBI are asking for your help in identifying and locating the person responsible for the robbery of a Wells Fargo Bank branch in Chalfont, Bucks County on Friday.

It was 4:22 p.m. when the suspect entered the bank branch located at 4275 County Line Road.

According to authorities, the man approached a teller, placed a large blue nylon zip-top bag on the counter and demanded money.

The teller handed over an undisclosed amount of cash, and the suspect then walked out the front doors and toward the back of the building.

The suspect is described as a male with pale, distorted facial features and very large ears. Many witnesses, however, believed he was wearing a full-face mask and wig.

He was wearing a dark blue hooded zip-front windbreaker, a white flat cap, black glasses with tinted lenses, and tan leather driving gloves with open knuckles.

Officials say the suspect also had an earpiece or ear bud in his right ear. A fairly thick red wire ran from the earpiece down into his jacket.

Anyone with information about this robbery or this subject is urged to call the FBI at 215-641-8910 or the New Britain Township Police Department at 215-822-1910. There may be a reward for information leading to this subject's capture, and tipsters can remain anonymous.
