Car wedged under school bus in Juniata

JUNIATA (WPVI) -- A car became wedged beneath a school bus in the Juniata section of Philadelphia.

The accident happened around 5:40 p.m. Thursday at Castor and East Luzerne.

Two children were on the bus at the time of the accident, but were not injured.

The driver of the car was initially reported to have fled the scene, but police now say she just ran up the street for help.

She was cited for not having a license and her car was impounded.

The woman suffered a head injury, but it is said to be non-life-threatening.

The accident remains under investigation.
