OLD CITY (WPVI) -- A carbon monoxide leak forced the evacuation of several businesses and apartments in Philadelphia.

Police and firefighters were called to the 200 block of Chestnut Street in Old City shortly after 1 a.m. Sunday.

Investigators say a CO detector alerted people in the apartments above the businesses of the high levels of gas.

The B Side Hookah Lounge and Barra Restaurant were evacuated.

Crews determined a faulty heater was responsible.

No one was hurt.
