Community "Paint Day" creates a mural honoring Pope Francis' visit

CAMDEN, N.J. (WPVI) -- The World Meeting of Families and the City of Philadelphia Mural Arts Program hosted a community paint day Tuesday in Camden.

They are creating a mural that will commemorate the historic visit of Pope Francis.

Students from Saint Joseph Elementary School, along with participants from The Joseph Fund's six ministries are working on individual panels that will be combined to create one mural.

When it's completed, the mural will be 4,239 square feet and be on display at the future Saint Malachy School in North Philadelphia.
