Couple married 69 years, 20 others renew wedding vows

NORTHEAST PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Some happy husbands and wives, who know a thing or two about marriage, got the chance to renew their vows on Wednesday.

The 21 couples who took part in a interfaith service have together achieved more than 1,000 years of wedded bliss.

All of the couples live together at Paul's Run, a retirement community in Northeast Philadelphia.

The Werners, married for 69 years, the longest of all the couples, was granted the honor of cutting the cake.

Everyone also had the chance to walk down memory lane, with a display of photos from their original wedding days.
