GREENWOOD, Del. (WPVI) -- A crash in Delaware led to the arrest of the driver for having a stolen gun inside his vehicle.
Police say 48-year-old Robert Reed of Greenwood lost control of his car on Deep Grass Lane around 6:30 p.m. Friday.
He hit a telephone pole and the car overturned.
A search of the car revealed a .22 caliber rifle that was reported stolen from a home back in July of 2015.
There were other weapons in the vehicle as well.
Reed is facing several charges, including three counts of possession of a firearm by a person prohibited, receiving a stolen firearm, driving while suspended or revoked and related offenses.
He is being held at Sussex Correctional Institution on $8,500 cash bond.
