On Dec. 23, 2014, around 5:20 p.m. the 33-year-old was crossing State Road in the 8500 block in Philadelphia's Holmesburg section.
Police said she stopped in the median and that's when a truck hit her. The driver fled the scene.
A few witnesses stopped to help her, but she succumbed to her injuries.
"And I appreciate the woman who stayed with my daughter and tried to help her," said Ana Pozzi.
Surveillance video from a nearby business shows a dark-colored, older model truck or tow truck leaving the scene.
Detectives say the truck's cab has a unique shape, like one from the '60s. A piece from it broke off and was recovered by authorities.
"And I say please Theresa send me a sign. Guide me to this person who took you from me," said Ana Pozzi.
The Citizens Crime Commission is administering a $15,000 reward for the arrest and conviction of the person responsible.
AAA Mid-Atlantic posted $2,500, the City of Philadelphia has posted up to $10,000 and the rest is from family and friends.
"I beg and I beg please, please come forward," said Ana Pozzi.
