Crime Fighters: $20,000 reward offered in woman's death

NORTH PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- With a heavy heart, a grieving woman comes forward with a plea for answers in her sister's death.

"Stephanie was very outgoing, outspoken," said Felicia Wiley, sister. "She was well loved by everyone."

Stephanie Wiley's sudden inactivity on social media is what tipped off her sister, Felicia, that something was wrong.

"One day she stopped posting things on Facebook so we were like that's weird cause she post everyday," said Felicia Wiley.

The 33-year-old went missing for six weeks.

"We we're just like where's Stephanie?" said Felicia Wiley.

On December 17, 2015, Stephanie's badly decomposed boy was found in a house on the 2200 block of North Chadwick Street in North Philadelphia.

"Nothing was taken. All of her stuff was dumped where she was found," said Felicia Wiley.

Felicia believes her sister's living arrangement may be a key to her death.

"I just know that she was living in a rooming house with some guys and she didn't like the traffic that was going on in the house, and she was trying to keep them out and she had a few you know arguments with them," said Felicia Wiley.

The City of Philadelphia is offering a reward of up to $20,000 for information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the person responsible.

For Felicia the loss of her sister is right on the heels of another family member's death.

"It's been like really hard for me because the last time I saw my sister was at my mom's funeral," said Felicia Wiley. "I just really would like justice for my sister. I would like somebody to come forward and say what they know."
