Deadly crash involving NJ Transit bus on Atlantic City Expressway

PLEASANTVILLE, N.J. (WPVI) -- A crash involving an NJ Transit bus has left a motorist dead in Pleasantville, N.J.

It happened at 5 a.m. in rainy conditions in the westbound lanes of the Atlantic City Expressway.

State police tell Action News a Honda and the bus collided at milepost 3.6, killing the driver of the Honda.

No one else was seriously injured.

There was no immediate word what led to the crash.

Motorists were advised to expect delays in the area as the investigation continued.
